And while I'm at it, how about a little sneak peek at what I have created with this kit:

November kit at Kit 'n' Kaboodles
I always think it just can't get any better. And then it does. I'm talking about the kits at Kit 'n' Kaboodles. Each month, I get my kit in the mail, and I think, "This one is my favorite!" I am afraid that it is going to be hard to top the November kit though. It includes papers from Crate Paper's Lemongrass collection and October Afternoon's Weathervane collection. It also has Crate Paper rub ons and glitter diecuts. Not to mention a BasicGrey Milk Chocolate Chip album and Ambrosia letter stickers. And of course some Bazzill and the cutest little Fancy Pants owl glitter cut! Ok, how about just a picture:

It's not the beach, but...
Caleb announced this morning that he wanted to go to the beach. Well, there just aren't many beaches in southern Indiana. None, to be exact. He has never actually been to a beach, but it was something he saw on Curious George, so apparently that is the thing to do. So, I did the next best thing, and made the kids a beach this morning. I carried a bucket of water down to the sand box, and we made sand castles, buried our feet, and were completely covered in wet sand. They had so much fun! So much so, that I think we will go back to the beach when they wake up from their naps!
Hope you get to enjoy a little bit of the beach in your day no matter where you are!

Fly
Wow has it been a busy weekend! We had company come in from out of town, went to visit my parents, played at Crop Addict during the online crop, and today, we went to Lowes to get a new faucet for the kitchen sink, hit the driving range, and then did some four wheeling. The weekend has just flown by, but it has been so much fun! I'm trying to soak it all up because I know we won't have many more beautiful, warm weekends like this before long. Here's my page this week for Pink Sketches:
I love this picture of my son playing on the swing. To me, this is the epitome of summer. Flying through the air, no shoes, and a big silly grin on his face. That is what summer is all about. The higher he goes, the happier he is. I used SEI Dill Blossom papers, Tim Holtz Grungeboard, Making Memories journaling spot and paint, Stampin' Up and Tim Holtz inks, and I cross stitched around the edge of the patterned paper.

A couple more KnK kit creations
Here are a couple more projects using the October kit from Kit 'n' Kaboodles. I love the gorgeous fall colors in this kit. The papers are from Bo Bunny's Beautiful Life collection.

A funny picture
With two small children, I find that it isn't easy to get fabulous shots of them with my camera as they are always on the move, looking at something other than the camera, or just plain ignoring me. So what I usually do, is just start taking a ton of pictures. I load them up on my computer and start going through them, hoping I got a couple of decent ones. Every once in a while, I come across one that just cracks me up. I had no idea that I got this shot until after I saw it on the computer. I had been taking pictures of my son playing with his golf club when my daughter decided she wanted her picture taken too. Is it just me, or does he look like he wants to club her upside the head?

It's already Sunday...again...
The days are flying by, and I just don't know where the time is going. I seem to be doing five million things all at once, but getting nothing done. Does anyone else ever feel that way? We traveled to Kentucky this weekend for my husband's cousin's wedding. The weather was perfect, and the wedding was beautiful, but traveling with small children is not easy. They were very good despite the circumstances, but I am exhausted. I have a lot of laundry and cleaning to catch up on, so that is where I'll be for a few days.
New sketches were revealed today at Creative Scrappers and Pink Sketches. Click the links to check out some new inspiration. Here are my pages for each one:

I hope you all are having a good weekend. I'm going to go and play with my silly kids and enjoy this beautiful day (in between loads of laundry lol).
