February Projects at Lavender Sentiments

Here are a couple of projects I have been working on for classes at Lavender Sentiments. The first project is a Bo Bunny chipboard "LOVE" word album, just in time for Valentine's Day. I used the Bo Bunny Smitten line of papers to cover the chipboard letters. I love this gorgeous paper as it has a shimmer to it - very pretty in person. I love how it turned out with parts of the pictures peeking out behind the letters when the book is closed.

And here is a one page layout titled "Bloom" using some SEI Aunt Gerti's Garden papers.

I've been tagged!

Martha is giving me the proper blog initiation and has tagged me. This looks like fun, and I can't wait to see everyone else's answers. This is called the middle name game. Here are the rules:
1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.
2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).
3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)

Here are my answers:
My middle name is Kay.
K - Keen - I am very observant and notice a lot of things that others might not.
A - Attentive - I listen to what others are saying and try to be mindful of other people's feelings.
Y - Yappy - I love to talk!

I am now going to tag Kim, Gina, and Robin. Have fun!

And so it begins...

Well, it is official. I can now add blogger to my long list of titles. My plan for this blog is to share my scrappy creations with others and to provide inspiration to other scrappers. I thought since this is the beginning of my blog, I would share my scrap space with you. This is where the creative process takes place. This is where I can usually be found at night after the kids go to bed.

It isn't much, but it is mine, and I love it. It is a small corner of the living room kept safe from little hands by a baby gate. I love to scrap. It is my creative outlet, my therapy. I enjoy the entire process of creating a layout from start to finish. I'll get the hang of this blogging thing soon and start posting some projects. At least now I have a starting point...
