Creative Scrappers Sketch #32

This is the last sketch for the current design team at Creative Scrappers. The new design team starts next week. It has been a pleasure working with these incredibly talented ladies, and I'm looking forward to working with the next team which is loaded with talent as well.

Click here to see this week's sketch created by Day and what the rest of the design team created. I have to admit, this is one of my current favorite layouts. I just love how it turned out. I used BasicGrey Urban Prairie papers, Prima flowers, Prima Say it in Crystals, BasicGrey rub ons, Riff Raff chipboard butterflies which I sprayed with glimmer mist, painted with stickles and then added the Kaiser Craft rhinestones.

I have a couple of other projects with the KnK January kit that I'll be posting soon, so check back later for those. I love how they turned out too! It has been such a fun kit to work with, and wait until you see February's kit! Suffice it to say I squealed with delight when I saw the sneak peek. That's all I can say about it right now. I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. Hope you have a happy New Year!

Creative Scrappers reveal and new Design Team

Today's sketch over at Creative Scrappers was created by Deanne Burton. Click here to see what the rest of the Design team created using Sketch #30. For my page, I used some BasicGrey Ambrosia and some Sassafras Lass Woodland Whimsy papers. I also used a mix of Prima and Bo Bunny flowers and some Prima Say it in Crystals.

Speaking of Creative Scrappers, the new Design Team starting in January 2009 was just announced, and I am very happy to remain on the team for another term! I love that I've been on this team since the start of the site, and I hope that Kristine never gets tired of me. We have an amazing group of talented ladies to inspire you in the next few months. Congrats to you all, and I am looking forward to working with you!

Just for fun, how about a sneak peek at the layout I did for my next Creative Scrappers reveal in two weeks?

Twelve Days of Christmas at Kit 'n' Kaboodles

The Design Team at Kit 'n' Kaboodles is helping you get ready for the Holidays by hosting the Twelve Days of Christmas. Each day for 12 days, one of the DT members posts instructions for a handmade gift. Visit our forum to see what has been cooking so far. Today, my project was featured, and I used the large magnetic card in the December kit to create a mini calendar. For step by step instructions on how to turn this

into this

just stop by the message board and look for the Twelve Days of Christmas forum. Be sure and check out all of the other gorgeous DT creations.

You can also check out all of the projects on KnK's new blog! That's right! KnK now has a blog, and be sure to check back often for lots of fun projects and happenings!

BasicGrey Ambrosia

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this Ambrosia collection from BasicGrey. I had the pleasure of being the designer of the November Layout Kit at Creative Scrappers, so naturally, I had to choose this collection. Here's what I created:

I'm excited to report that this kit is already sold out! If you like what you see, be sure and sign up for a subscription. Each kit comes with everything needed to create two layouts just like the ones I have created plus custom sketches based on these layouts. You also receive enough product to create a couple of pages on your own. Upcoming layout kit designers include Kristine Davidson with December's kit and Tanya Lamo with January's kit. I'll be designing the kit for February, so stay tuned for sneak peeks!
