The rest of the KnK reveal

Here is another layout and a card that I created with the April kit from Kit 'n' Kaboodles. I just love the vibrant colors of this kit! It has been a lot of fun to work with, and how cool is that Clear Scraps XL paper clip? I love it! Here's Beat the Heat:

Creative Scrappers Sketch #45

As promised, here is the rest of my page for the reveal of Sketch #45 at Creative Scrappers. This week's sketch is by Jodie Kautzner and has lots of fun possibilities. For my page, I used some Graphic 45 papers, Prima and Petaloo flowers, Prima Say it in Crystals, and American Crafts Thickers.

Just for the heck of it...

I'm not usually one for altering things. It's not that I don't like altering things...I just refuse to alter something just for the sake of altering it. It has to be functional...something I can use...or I can display in my house...not something that will just be put away to gather dust. I have enough of those type of things. Having said that, I had these ugly little frames that were begging me to do something with them. I almost tossed them out, but I decided that I would see if I could salvage them and make them into something pretty. I dug out some SEI Dill Blossom papers and went to town. I added some Prima flowers, some distress ink, and viola! From trash to treasure! These little frames measure about 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 inches. And while I'm here, how about a little sneak peek at my Creative Scrappers layout to be revealed on Sunday!

April Kit at Kit 'n' Kaboodles

It's reveal time for me at Kit 'n' Kaboodles, and the April kit is another winner in my book! This one features papers from Bisous PDQ and Bo Bunny as well as Prima flowers, PDQ chipboard shapes, Clear Scraps XL paper clips, and Stampendous copper alphabet tiles. This is a really fun and vibrant kit. Check it out:Here are a couple of layouts that I've created with it so far:

Creative Scrappers Sketch #43

The sun is shining, and it is a beautiful day here! I have the windows open, and I'm cleaning the house. The kids are outside playing while Daddy is working on the car. The Easter flowers are popping up and starting to bloom, and I can see buds on the trees. Spring is coming and life is good! Now that I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel of this long, cold winter, I can actually scrap some winter pictures lol. This week's sketch at Creative Scrappers was created by the owner herself, and my dear friend, Kristine Davidson. Click here to see the sketch and what the rest of the Design Team did with it. For my page, I used some new My Mind's Eye BellaBella French Flea Market papers, Fancy Pants chipboard snowflakes which I painted with a pearl paint dabber and then covered with frosted lace stickles, American Crafts Thickers, Tim Holtz metal tag, MME ribbon, MM paint, and Tim Holtz walnut stain distress ink.

The rest of the KnK reveal

Here are the rest of my projects with the March kit from Kit 'n' Kaboodles including that two page layout I mentioned before. I also created a card using the cute stamp that came in the kit, and I altered the 7Gypsies purse. I think I'm going to use that to organize coupons.

Here's my page titled Smooches using Graphic 45's Playtimes Past collection.Speaking of Graphic 45, I had the honor of being featured on their blog on Friday. Click here to check it out, and I would love for you to leave me a comment!

I also posted the April Guest Design Team Contest at Creative Scrappers today. Click here for more information on that.
