March Kit at Kit 'n' Kaboodles

Spring is just around the corner, and if you don't have spring fever yet, this gorgeous kit will surely give it to you! It is loaded with Daisy Bucket and Chatterbox papers, a 7Gypsies accordion purse kit, gorgeous May Arts ribbons, and so much more!
Here are a couple of things I have created with this kit.And believe it or not, I have even created a two page layout with this kit! It's been a while since I have done one of those. Check back in a few days for that as well as my purse and a card! I had a lot of fun with this kit, and now I'm ready for spring!

It's been a while since I've posted a sketch

I've been creating a few sketches lately and sending them to Creative Scrappers since I am now on the sketch team there, but I thought I would create one that I could share with everyone, so here is one that I whipped up the other day. Creative Scrappers Sketch #39

It's Sunday, and I am excited because today is the kickoff of the NASCAR season at Daytona! It also means that a new sketch and layouts are revealed at Creative Scrappers! For my page, I used Webster's Pages papers, Prima flowers and say it in crystals, Riff Raff chipboard, May Arts ribbon, American Crafts Thickers, Stickles, and Kaiser Craft rhinestones. Back Porch Memories March Guest Designer

I am so excited and honored to have been chosen as the March Guest Designer at Back Porch Memories! Thank you to Paula and the BPM Design Team for this opportunity! Here is the page I submitted for the contest based on a sketch created by Becky Fleck.
I used Crate Paper Mia collection papers, Petaloo embossed velvet butterflies, Making Memories ribbon, misc. twill from Hobby Lobby, and KI Memories Alphabet Soup. Journaling reads, "You love your Chapstick, or "date-date" as you call it, and you have to apply it several times a day to your face and chin."

Creative Kits Blog

I have a new blog for you to check out! As many of you know, Kristine Davidson, Tanya Lamo, and I have been designing monthly layout kits for Creative Scrappers. These kits have been becoming increasingly popular, so as a way to keep customers and anyone else who might be interested informed, we have created a Creative Kits Blog! For those of you who don't know what a Creative Layout Kit is, here is some information. Each kit contains enough paper and embellishments to create two layouts as well as enough additional product to create a few pages on your own. What makes our kits different from the rest? Well, before the kit is released to subscribers, the kit designer creates two layouts using that month's kit, and included in each kit are two custom made sketches and instructions based on those layouts. So the planning is already done for you! You have a complete kit with exactly what you need to create two gorgeous layouts, and you don't have to think about layout or design because the sketches and instructions are included! More KnK Goodies and a Guest Designer Opportunity

Here are the rest of my creations with the February kit from Kit 'n' Kaboodles. I have completely exhausted this kit, and there isn't a stitch of it left! I had so much fun cutting out little butterflies and tags. Creative Scrappers Sketch #37

I can't believe it is already February. I'm not really sure where January went. It's also Sunday which means a new sketch at Creative Scrappers! This week's sketch was provided by Kristine Davidson herself! I actually got brave and dusted off my sewing machine for this page. I used papers from Graphic 45. Flowers are Heidi Swapp, Petaloo, and Bazzill. The large Heidi Swapp flower was pink, but I sprayed it with red glimmer mist. The chipboard pieces are sprayed with glimmer mist too. The red flourish that holds the title is a Fancy Pants glitter cut. The butterfly is from Petaloo. Click here to check out the sketch and what the rest of the Design Team created.
