So excited!!

I happened to stumble across a new sketch blog, Pink Sketches the other day, and saw the call for the Design Team. I am loving sketch blogs right now, and really enjoy being on the DT at Creative Scrappers, so on a whim, I submitted my application to the owner, Kelli. I just found out tonight that I made the team!! I am so totally surprised and excited, and I cannot wait to get started with our first sketch! The live launch of this blog will be on August 17th, so be sure and check it out!

Take the next mulitphoto challenge!

It is time again to take the multiphoto challenge at Crop Addict. For this week's challenge, I used a sketch from my friend, Chris Pozzi. You have until August 16th at midnight PST to upload your take on the sketch in the August 9th sketch gallery. Here's the sketch:

Here is my take in the sketch. I used Fancy Pants papers and chipboard, Bazzill cardstock, American Crafts Thickers, black Cat's Eye ink and a black Zig pen.

I can't believe I'm still cranking out some of the challenges for the Creative Scrappers Sketchfest! I have another one that I'm working on right now, but I don't know if I'll get it done in time for tomorrow's deadline. Either way, I have had so much fun, and I have never scrapped so many layouts in such a short time.

Creative Scrappers Sketchfest a Success and Crop Addict Technique Posted

Wow!! What a weekend! I want to thank each and every one of you that participated in our first ever Creative Scrappers Sketchfest! We had an amazing turnout, and the gallery is chock full of beautiful layouts and cards! Don't forget, you still have until Thursday to complete challenges and get them loaded into the gallery, and Kristine is still doing some drawings for prizes. I managed to get a few of the challenges done, and I have another one that I have started on. Here are some of my creations from this weekend:

Online crop this weekend at Creative Scrappers!

Join us for a fun weekend of scrapping, games and chatting! The crop starts at 10am EST, Friday, July 25 and ends at midnight Sunday, July 27. Challenges will be posted Friday morning, and you will have until July 31 to post your layouts in the gallery. All challenges will have a sketch to go with it.
