It's not the beach, but...

Caleb announced this morning that he wanted to go to the beach. Well, there just aren't many beaches in southern Indiana. None, to be exact. He has never actually been to a beach, but it was something he saw on Curious George, so apparently that is the thing to do. So, I did the next best thing, and made the kids a beach this morning. I carried a bucket of water down to the sand box, and we made sand castles, buried our feet, and were completely covered in wet sand. They had so much fun! So much so, that I think we will go back to the beach when they wake up from their naps!
Hope you get to enjoy a little bit of the beach in your day no matter where you are!

Very fun! We played tornado today. (As in: the kids tore my house up completely, and it looks like a tornado hit it.)

How SWEET! What a GREAT mom you are :D I couldn't imagine not having a beach around us -- shoot, we were there all summer. It must still be warm down there in your parts...lol We're only in the 50's today...brrrr!!

This is SO cute and exactly the same thing we do with our Caleb since we, too, are in Indiana with no beach around.
They are SO cute!
